Learn to Weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom

Description: The rigid heddle loom is a great tool for exploring weaving, using up your stash, and learning something new! In this 2 session class students will learn to warp the loom, weave and finish a scarf. Our first session will cover designing, calculating, warping the loom and weaving. Students will finish their projects at home, returning a week later for a quick lesson on taking your scarf off the loom and finishing techniques.
Materials: 200 grams of yarn- if you are using our loaner loom this will be worsted weight yarn, if you have your own loom let us know what size reed you have- for this class you can use an 8 dent or 10 dent reed.
