A note from Swans Island: this yarn is dyed using an ancient Indonesian technique called Ikat, which means "to tie." Each skein of wrapped by hand, then carefully dipped into the dye pots. When the wraps are removed, the striking contrast of the resist marks is left behind. Some colors then go for another dip in a second color of dye. Each skein is completely unique.
You can also buy mini cakes of Swans Island IKAT Firefly, available here!
